We welcome Cynthia Roberts, LUT as our speaker and workshop leader on January 22. Her lesson will be focused on the liturgical part of the calendar that is between Christmastime & Eastertime. This time is called “Ordinary Times.” The traditional churches teach that it is the time to focus on the everyday life of Jesus. Of course, Jesus’ everyday life was anything but ordinary; it was extraordinary, Cynthia’s lesson will explore the idea that we also become extraordinary as we realize our Oneness with Spirit, just as Jesus did.
After the service, beginning at 1:00 pm, Cynthia will facilitate a workshop: “Everyday Practices for Becoming Extraordinary.” CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS
